VS.NET copy websites: why doesn't vs.net keep track of changed/unchanged for

Hello KF, According to the MSDN article "Walkthrough: Copying a Web Site Using
the Copy Web Site Tool" [link] The Default.aspx files have question marks (?)
next to them. This indicates that the file has the same name in both sites,

still at a loss as to how to change it. I backed up the databases I want to
change. But if I select New Database in SSMS, I don't see an option to read
from a backup. And if I select Restore, I went in to options and changed the
